Technical Details

For the techies:

This service functions by taking inputs from you and then translating them into a list of US coordinates. From there, the backend receives those coordinates and a specified date and parses NWS grid point forecast to determine the best location with a custom formula before returning it to the frontend to display. In my experience with back country weather, the NWS provides the most accurate forecasts.
